Inspired by a trip to Curacao, Kirk Coco, founder and president of NOLA Brewing Company, wanted to launch his own craft distillery using locally sourced ingredients. In April 2015, Andy Kutcher joined the team as Chief Marketing and Operating Officer and later that Summer, David Bock – a former distiller with Old New Orleans Rum – rounded out the founding members as the Master Distiller and thus NOLA Distilling Company was born.
After a little over a year of permitting, building and funding the company began production of NOLA Vodka in October 2016 and the first bottles hit the market in December 2016. NOLA Vodka is made entirely from locally sourced Louisiana Sweet Potatoes and is a Louisiana Certified Product.

The company believes in focusing on the flavors and ingredients in and around the New Orleans and Louisiana areas. Future products include a Pepper Vodka made with locally grown cayenne peppers, Coffee Cruiser – a coffee cordial made in collaboration with local coffee roaster French Truck Coffee and more.
Today, our small team of three still runs with the show with two important additions of Cody Collins, our second distiller and Niki Sideris our bar manager. We offer tours every Thursday and Friday at 3:00 pm and invite you to stop in for a drink at our tasting room Wednesday – Sunday 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm.
At the end of the day, NOLA Distilling prides itself on making products from fresh, local ingredients for the people of New Orleans. We hope you enjoy what we do because we’re having the time of our lives doing it.
